With multiple different forklifts being used in industry today why instruct your team on a machine they are never going to use. Learning the machine they will be using has so many advantages. I will walk through your machine to show your operators how to use their specific machine to its full capability. Different operating systems for different manufactures are very important to know and understand. Training will include OH&S safety regulations and safety training specific to your equipment and environment. Once the classroom portion and written exam is done we focus on operation of your equipment. A pre use inspection will be performed to show the operators what to look for, as well as items not to touch in order to keep them safe. Operation and function testing will show operators how their specific machine works. A drive test relevant to what you use your machine for will be performed. Training time is based on operators experience.

Working at heights can be dangerous work. Having your team informed of all the hazards and dangers in their workplace is important. We will discuss anchorage points and proper harnesses applicable to the work. Proper fit of the harness to reduce injury in the event of a fall. Inspections of the equipment to ensure it is safe. Discussions on specific lanyards, what they are intended for and when to use them . How to figure out fall distances based on different lanyard options. Rescue plans and equipment for proper rescue. The dangers of suspension trauma. Emergency lowering of boom and scissor lifts. Working around electricity. Using travel restraint to eliminate fall hazards they may encounter in the workplace. A written exam and harness fit test will be preformed.
